There are three ways to volunteer with NJCF, choose the one that's best for you!
Volunteer Days
NJCF periodically holds volunteer days at our preserves around the state. If you are interested in being alerted to our volunteer days - please send your name, town and e-mail address to Meghan@njconservation.org and we will contact you when we're having an event in your area. Volunteer days often include picking up litter, planting trees, and blazing hiking trails.
Corporate & Community Groups
Depending on your specific needs, NJCF may be able to design a volunteer workday for your group. Please contact Meghan McMahon at Meghan@njconservation.org to coordinate a joint project with NJCF.
Long-Term Volunteers
Please contact Carol Banhart at carol@njconservation.org for more information.

Seventy employees from HSBC-North America volunteered by planting red chokeberry shrubs at the Franklin Parker Preserve in Burlington County in August 2007. Red chokeberry is the only known food plant for a very rare species of Precious Underwing moth that was recently discovered at the preserve.

A group of about 30 Novartis employees pitched in to help reforest property along the banks of the Wickecheoke Creek in Hunterdon County in October 2007. The group planted more than a thousand oak trees and native shrubs on the site.
