Rusty Adams, Associate Land Steward
Rusty was born and raised in the Pemberton Township section
of the Pine Barrens. He spent his entire childhood playing,
hiking and hunting in the Bee Tree Swamp, which is now known
as NJCF’s Dot & Brooks Evert Memorial Nature Trail.
Rusty holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health, Physical
Education, Recreation & Dance at Trenton State College.
While in college, he worked summers and weekends at the DeMarco
cranberry farm where he eventually worked full time until
the property was sold to NJCF in 2004. Rusty is now working
full-time for the Burlington County Bridge Commission and
devotes his spare-time to his wife & two sons. Rusty works
part-time for NJCF keeping his father out of trouble at the
Franklin Parker Preserve.
