Carol Banhart, Events Coordinator

Carol served as Senior Coordinator of Development & Outreach from 2003 to 2009, at which time she assumed her current position in the Department of Outreach and Education. As the Events Coordinator, Carol is responsible for planning, implementing and organizing New Jersey Conservation Foundation events and educational programs, including the annual New Jersey Land Conservation Rally, promotional programs, volunteer work days, Garden State Greenways programs, land trust network events, and other education programs. She also manages a volunteer program, including recruitment, training and support for managers supervising volunteers. Prior to her employment at New Jersey Conservation Foundation, Carol was a fund raising researcher and database manager for Morristown Memorial Hospital and the Greater New Jersey Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. She has an AA in Psychology and Business from Green Mountain College, and a BA in Psychology from Boston University.
