Julia Raskin, Program Manager for Camden Parks and Greenways

Julia Raskin is the Program Manager for Camden Parks and Greenways, and will be working with Justin Dennis on the implementation and revitalization of parks and greenways for the City of Camden and surrounding communities. She is excited to work with Camden residents and our partners in the region to improve park access to the public and to promote New Jersey Conservation’s visibility and community support for our mission. Julia is originally from Westchester New York and completed her undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies at Oberlin College. She continued her education with a dual masters degree in Environmental Science and Urban Planning at the University of Michigan. Before joining the NJCF team in Camden, she was a Community Organizer for the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition and was also a Conservation Corps Fellow at the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation. Julia has a strong passion for environmental justice, and cares deeply about improving access to open space for historically underserved communities. She sees an incredible opportunity to foster relationships in Camden that will open opportunities for people across the city to enjoy the outdoors.
